Company founded in 1868 by Charles Rossignol. His son perfected the use of staples for fastening tinplate and the use of lithography, which revolutionised the toy industry.
From 1930 onwards, C.R. toys also bore the Unis France logo, the national logo.
The company ceased trading in 1962.
