Founded in 1933 by the Kosmann brothers and Guillaume Marx (the latter a former director of Bing), who had been forced to leave Nazi Germany and joined forces with Georges Molliet in 1935.
Production ceased during the war and resumed in 1946.
Joustra produced tinplate toys and a number of colourful mechanical toys.
The company disappeared at the end of the 1980s.
