Metalgraf
Milan
1910 to the present day
Founded in 1910, the company began by making boxes and objects in lithographed tinplate, and from automobiles from 1920. Its toys were fragile because they were made from recycled metal. Metalgraf soon managed to attract the clientele of the major biscuit and sweet manufacturers in Turin, such as Lazzaroni, Delser and De Coster, who, inspired by English manufacturers such as Hughes and Crawford, packaged their sweets in toy boxes. The company stopped producing toy cars at the end of the 1930s, but continued to create objects in lithographed tinplate.
It is still active today.
