Founded by Manuel Hojmann in 1935 as Manuel Hojmann e Hijos SRL, the company changed its name in 1939 and registered the OMA trademark in 1943.
Prior to this, toys were marked with an H.
OMA mainly produced spinning tops, beach buckets, money boxes, drums, carousels with aeroplanes and a few rare models of cars and aeroplanes.
The company ceased trading in 1980.
