Founded in Bergamo in 1929, the company specialised in wooden toys, in particular cars, lorries, advertising vehicles and mechanical ships. The toys were sold in Italy and exported to the Balkans and Mediterranean countries.
By 1949, ZAX was considered one of Italy’s most famous manufacturers of wooden toys.
Production ceased in 1966.
